I was pleasantly surprised to see the various different way that the designers composed there portfolio. They not only thought about what to include and the composition that they rearranged their work in but the also chose unique materials to construct there portfolios in innovative ways. Not only does our design work that is in our portfolio reflect on us as a designer but the design of the portfolio does as well. My favorite one of all of the examples was by Brian Neumann. His hand crafted portfolio was simple and refined yet interesting. Having the hand cut and embossed booklet to hold all of his information and was done well. I also thought that Dirk Wachowiak’s approach of presenting his work in a non linear way was interesting. Laying out prints of his body of work for the interviewer to engage and walk around was interesting.
